Godiva Chocolate Truffles: be my Valentine

Love is in the air. For the romantics among us, there is no better way to express our affection than to give our loved ones the food of the gods.

SOME people may argue that Valentine’s Day is totally overrated, but there are those who are convinced that it is the only time of the year when we are reminded of what hopeless romantics we really are.

If there is magic beyond the commerce of Valentine’s Day, it is the idea that there is someone out there who we truly care about and would go out of our way to make them feel appreciated.

And as a prelude to an exciting dinner date, a gift of chocolates is usually offered to bring a bit of romantic lore to the table.

Adrian Moh, who confesses to being a romantic when it comes to pleasing his girlfriend, says the best way to get to her heart is through chocolates.

“I buy her a box of Godiva chocolate truffles that come with a short poem and it really makes her happy, which in turn makes me happy,” he says.

nother fan of the delectable confection is Mohammad Fikry Zainuddin, who gets his stock from Godiva at KLCC.

“Although the Valentine package is not cheap, I’d like my wife to know that nothing in the world is too good for her,” he says.

Godiva, which also has an outlet in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, sells premium, hand-crafted chocolates and novelty gifts in a selection of lovely gift boxes.
